Hi, I’m Esther. I grew up in a smalll town in Washington, married a man from Chicago and we now live in Seattle. We are proud parents of a 1 1/2 year old Golden Retriever, named Bear.
I started this blog as a way to document and remember the days leading up until our wedding << Dec 2009>>. I never thought it would become such a source of inspiration for me. I still think of myself as a newlywed and vow never to have a mom haircut. I love decorating and thinking of plans for our dream home. My passion is cooking and I love entertaining and having people in our home.
I love Jesus and am learning each day how to follow him. I enjoy farmer’s markets, biking, kayaking, chocolate, the beach, soy lattes, hiking, the smell of pavement after it rains and I could watch the Food Network and CSI Miami all day long.
